A native of Renwick, Iowa, Dr.
David Gimer, received his dental degree from the
University of Iowa in 1976. Afterward he served in the
U.S. Navy Dental Corps until 1980, when he established a
private practice in Iowa Falls. Dr. Gimer received
additional training in implant dentistry at the
prestigious Misch Implant Institute in Dearborn,
Michigan from 1988 to 1990.

He is the only Iowa dentist or
specialist to be credentialed as a Diplomate by the
American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry.
He has achieved the credentials of Associate Fellow in
the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Fellow in the
International Congress of Oral Implantology, and Fellow
in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is an active
member of the American Dental Association, and the
immediate Past-President of the Iowa Academy of General
Dentistry. |
